What a great experience at Ocean Blue and Sand in Punta Cana. The minute we walked in to the hotel, we were received by delicious cocktails. My kids were in heaven (8 and 4 year olds). The room was spacios and clean. The daily maintenance of the room and the facility as a whole was great. Beautiful beach and pools. Great service in the spa, restaurants, bars, disco, pool hall, room service... you name it, all was good. The food was delicious... We could not stop eating. there was food available 24 hours a day. Definetly recomend it, particularly to families. The activities and entertainment available are endless...

The hotel itself was fantastic, food was great, the service staff (housecleaning, waiters, bartenders) wonderful. Wouldn't waste my money staying privileged ever again. One might think that paying an extra several hundred dollars to stay privileged you would get a great room, with a view. I ended up with a room overlooking the service drive, I should have just requested any room. Not happy at all. Your concierge was never available. What good is that service when you can never find him.

My husband & I, along with 2 other couples, just returned from the Ocean Blue & Sand resort in Punta Cana. We stayed from 2/24/11 till 3/3/11. This was our 10th trip to the Dominican and our 3rd time staying at the Ocean Blue & Sand. We have stayed previously at the Catalonia Bavaro, the Riu Palace Macao, the Bahia Principe, and the Punta Cana Grand. Our favorite has been the Ocean Blue & Sand and they did not disappoint us this trip either. To us, the Ocean Blue & Sand is the perfect size hotel. Not too large where you don’t feel like you get individual attention and yet big enough to offer great amenities. The people that work at the resort are outstanding. I must tell you about something in particular that happened on this trip. One day our group decided to go to the Palma Real Mall and we spent the day doing some shopping there but mostly drinking at the Hard Rock Café Restaurant. We had a great time there and none of us was feeling any pain by the time we arrived back at the resort – somewhere around 6:00 pm. We drank more at the lobby bar and then went back to our room. Actually the night became a blur after the lobby bar. Fast forward I awoke about 1:30 in the morning and started thinking about the previous night and thought I don’t remember bringing my packages back to the room. I got up and searched our room and couldn’t find the purchases I had made at the Hard Rock (over $200 worth of items). I got up then and went to the lobby bar (1:30 am). Alexander & Sonia were there and told me that I had left my packages there. They said they thought I would come back but when I didn’t they took them to guest services but guest services were already closed. I thanked them and then went to bed. I went to guest services the following morning and low and behold all of my stuff was there. Alexander & Sonia – you guys are wonderful!!! I would also like to say a special thank you to Sonny – he is the guy that helps all the Apple vacationers – you do a great job!! And also the bartender Ronny – you do a great job too! !! Thanks for the making our vacation a great one & for the special memories!

Hola Senor, Hola Senora!!!! WOW! What a wonderful time my family and extended family (friends) had at the Ocean Blue! This was our first time travelling to the Dominican with our kids and it was an experience we will never forget. Where do I begin??? ARRIVAL: Check in went smoothly and the bellhops took very good care of our luggage. We arrived late but was able to have something to eat at Route 66 and Mike's coffee shop. Good food, great service! ELVIN at Route 66 was our favourite waiter and took great care of us. Very attentive and friendly. Tip him well, he deserves it! After we grabbed a bite to eat we took a walk down to the beach and the kids (late teens, early 20's) were happy to take part in the Beach Party that was going on. Unfortunately we were tired from travelling and turned in early. RESTAURANTS: The only a la carte restaurants we ate at were Route 66 and the Italian restaurant. They were both good!! For the most part we just stuck with the buffet restaurants. There was a different theme every night for dinner and a large variety of food to choose from. For breakfast we'd also go to the main buffet. I would have an omelette everyday. Ramone (the omelette guy) was so happy everytime I'd see him. Always smiling :). We ate lunch at the beach buffet, pretty much the same every day but always good. SHOWS: If you get the chance to see the Michael Jackson show...GO! It is such a great show! And the circus show was very well done too! We didn't make it to all the shows as we were wore right out by the end of the day. POOL: Fun, fun, fun! And it's great that there is an "active" pool and a "quiet" pool. With the kids we would always go to the active pool and participated pretty much every day! Only spent a couple of days at the beach....you have to get there early early early to get chairs with shade. Beautiful scenery! BARS: Henrry at the pool bar was awesome! The young girls didn't have a hard time watching him either! I have to tell you the Blue Hawiiaan , Miami Beach, and Dori Monkey were my favourite drinks. Sooooo good. Order two at a time as they are small and go down quite easy! ENTERTAINMENT STAFF: A big congratulations to Renaldo! He was part of the entertainment staff and during our stay was promoted to guest services (I think) You can tell he loves his job and we wish him nothing but the best! I cannot say enough about the entertainment staff, especially Ada and Sapito (Hector). From day one they embrassed us all and our kids had the time of their lives with them. Ada and Sapito have definately found their calling as they are very very very good at what they do. My daughter (21) cried at the end of the week when we had to say good-bye. Ada and Sapito became a part of our family in such a short time and they will NEVER be forgotten! If you have the opportunity to meet them, treat them well. And if managers of the Ocean Blue are reading this.....ADA & SAPITO deserve a raise! They worked hard every, smiled all the time, and touch our hearts! WE LOVE YOU ADA & SAPITO! Thank you to everyone at the Ocean Blue & Sand for helping us make memories with our family and friends that will last a lifetime! Hola!

Hola yo pase una semana en el cuarto numero 8327.Una cosa que me voy a recuerdar de su hotel es la amabilidad de sus empleados. Tambien el lugar esta muy padre. El sitio en general esta muy bien.Su servicio de internet en los habitaciones esta perfecto. Quiero felicitar algunos empleados que hicieron todo para sentirme como a mi casa. Uno es el Bellboy que se llama Omar Castillo que fue muy honesto y muy amable y ademas profesional en su trabajo. Tambien una senorita en el buffet que se llama Yuderkis Inoa Rodriguez. Igual por ella muy amable y profesional, siempre sonriendo . Fue igual por una de las personas que hicieron mi limpieza en mi cuarto, una fue Odelis Castro. Tambien fue a ver la doctara y se puso muy profesional y muy respectable por medio de sus servicios. Fue a ver la doctara por medio de una amiga que se desmallo y ella se se puso mas tranquilla con el bueno servicio de la doctora. En general me encento su hotel y la verdad lo voy a recomendar. Gracias a todos.

This resort gave us everything we needed. The beach was perfect.The resort grounds are clean and beautiful.the. Food was super and mikes cafe was super. A espresso at the end of the day is perfect.thanks for serving premium drinks.The staff were very pleasant. THANK YOU OCEAN BLUE BY H10

We have been impressed with the staff at the hotel. Alejandro and the others have done a great job entertaining us with activities. The pools are clean and the beach is beautiful. We love the lobby area as well.

Excelente resort. Las atenciones de su personal son excelentes, comida exquisita, y sus instalaciones son las mejores que he visto hasta ahora. Nos encantó el Mike´s Cafè. Volveremos muy pronto. Felicitaciones y continúen con esa calidad insuperable.

We had a wonderful time at Ocean Blue.We have been to 3 other resorts in Dominican Republic which we thought were good but this one tops them all. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We are seniors in our 70s and were treated with so much respect and help. We found the food to be very good with lots of fresh vegetables meat and fish. We spent most of our time at the buffet and visited Route 66 one time. Although this is a large resort we had a trolley to take us to each area much needed in the heat. All the bars were superb but our favorite was the lobby which was beatifully decorated with comfortable lounges. This was a first all inclusive for our friends as they want to return in January they were extremely impressed. Say hello to Raquel ,Marionella ,Luis in fact everyone there who were like family. Hope to see them in the New Year or maybe try Mexico.

We just returned from a recent visit to your resort and felt the need to contact you about our experience. The grounds are beautiful; the staff were all very hard working; and there was much effort put into having lots of activities available.
